An honest note first

The studio is in Wallace. Not in your city.

Boudoir By Kyle is based in Wallace, in Eastern North Carolina. There is no Raleigh, Charlotte, or Triad location. Clients who travel do it because the work and the experience feel right, not because it is convenient.

If that is you, the day is simple once you arrive. Professional hair and makeup is included in the $500 session fee, wardrobe guidance happens before your session, and Kyle directs every pose. A typical total purchase is $1,500–$2,500, depending on the images and products you choose. The pricing guide helps you weigh the session alongside travel costs.

Planning the trip

Three things to confirm before you book travel.

Appointment length

Ask how long styling and photography will take so you can decide between a day trip and an overnight stay.

Selections and delivery

Proofs are usually ready the same day. Confirm how you will choose images and receive finished artwork once you are home.

Any gift deadline

Albums usually take about two to three weeks to come back. For a wedding or anniversary, work back from the date you need it.

Why travel to Wallace when there are photographers closer to home?

The Triangle, Triad, and Charlotte all have boudoir photographers. Choosing the Wallace studio is about fit: the style of the photographs, a private setting, and a photographer who directs every pose. Review the portfolio and talk with Kyle before deciding the trip is right for you.

How long is the drive?

Roughly an hour and a half from Raleigh and Durham, and closer to three hours or more from Charlotte, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem. Check the route from your own address before choosing a date.

Should I stay overnight?

From Charlotte or the Triad, many people prefer an overnight stay to a long return drive after hair and makeup and photography. From the Triangle, a day trip is usually manageable. Confirm your appointment length first so you can plan around it.

How do I see my photos if I live far away?

Images are usually available the same day for proofing, so you can review your session before you leave. Ask how selections and delivery work for out-of-town clients before booking.
